OPEN TO ALL COMMUNITY MEMBERS OF THE EASTERN IOWA SERVICE AREA
Intended for individuals of all experience levels, this all-day class provides ample opportunities for hands on experience on topics such as how to find grant sources, evaluate those sources and write a compelling application. Please come to class with a grant-worthy project and a computer if possible as we will write sections of a grant to share for peer evaluation and discussion. Everyone will leave the class with parts of an application ready for submission.
M. Linda Wastyn, Ph.D., President of Wastyn & Associates, has more than 30 years of grant development experience that began at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and continued at Bridgewater College, and St. Ambrose University where she raised more than $17 million in grant funds. She co-teaches a grant writing class for the Quad Cities Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and frequently speaks at the Grant Professionals Association annual meeting.
