About the Presenter: Terry Hanson

Born and raised in the Quad Cities, with a background and degree in business, he’s found that he truly enjoys helping others. Whether that’s being a supporting husband, a compassionate father, an encouraging coach, or an effective collaborator, his passion lies in working together. Emphasis of this includes him working in many ways to support those with mental health challenges especially the community’s youth. Terry has served as the Special Projects Coordinator with Scott County Kids since October 2021. He is an approved facilitator for QPR, Youth Mental Health First Aid, and Adult Mental Health First Aid.

About the Training:

QPR is an efficient suicide prevention training that helps to increase skills in Questioning about suicide, Persuading someone to get help, and Referring someone to the appropriate resource.

Training Details:

This training is sponsored by Scott County Kids and will occur in-person at the Scott County Administrative Building located at 600 West 4th Street, Davenport, Iowa in Room 605 located on the sixth floor. Space is limited and registration is required.
