Aim4Excellence Leadership Training is an online/face-to-face hybrid program that helps people build leadership skills.
Aim4Excellence focuses on building skills related to
- Family engagement
- Community outreach
- Administration and management
- Training staff
Who is the program for?
Aim4Excellence is offered to early childhood directors and aspiring directors in the Quad Cities area, both in non-profit and for-profit sectors.
How does it work?
People who are accepted into the program join a cohort, which meets face-to-face on a monthly basis. Individuals work through a series of nine online modules that include interactive activities and assignments; each module is approximately one semester hour of instruction, or about 16 clock hours. The monthly cohort meetings provide opportunities to network, discuss the training modules, and otherwise strengthen the leadership skills that make up the program.
Aim4Excellence is administered by Montessori Heartland Teacher Education Center and the McCormick Center. To apply for the Aim4Excellence program, please email Danen Busch at or call 309-764-7047.
Applications for the current cohort (Nov. 2014) are currently closed.
