Scott County Decat Program
Decat Coordination

Decat Coordination provides for the day-to-day management of activities related to decategorization funding. Among other tasks, this includes contract and RFP (Request for Proposal) writing, contract management, community assessment and collaboration, and convening meetings.


Muscatine County Community Resources
Family Advocacy

The purpose of this contract is to provide a Family Advocacy Program for children/adolescents with severe emotional disorders and their families. Services include outreach, assisting participants in meeting basic human needs, providing services necessary to secure decent and affordable housing, mental health treatment, crisis intervention, social assistance, vocational assistance, family education, development of the natural support system, protection and advocacy, and service coordination.


Lutheran Services of Iowa
Summer Community Services

Lutheran Services of Iowa (LSI) is contracted to: coordinate and schedule community service projects, coordinate and schedule youth to complete service projects, provide transportation from the meeting site to the work site and back, maintain attendance records and hours of service completed, report individual youth progress to the Juvenile Court Officer (JCO) assigned, and report completion of community service hours to the JCO.


7th Judicial District
Victim Restitution

Decategorization contracts with the State Court Administrators office to act as the employer of record and perform the payroll functions for juveniles enrolled in the Victim Restitution Program.


Muscatine Safe Streets, Inc.
Community Partnerships for Protecting Children Project

The Community Partnerships for Protecting Children (CPPC) approach aims to keep children safe from abuse and neglect and to support families. In Iowa, Community Partnerships have brought together parents, youth, social service professionals, faith ministries, local business, schools and caring neighbors to help design, govern and participate in programs that seek to create a continuum of care and support for children, youth and parents in their neighborhoods. This approach recognizes that keeping children safe is everybody’s business and that community members must be offered opportunities to help vulnerable families and shape the services and supports provided.


Muscatine County Community Resources
Brief Intensive Services

Brief Intensive Services provides in-home family-centered brief intensive services to children (age six to seventeen) in Muscatine County who are not currently involved with but are at-risk of becoming involved in the juvenile justice system and/or child welfare system. This program will also provide services to families who are in the process of exiting or have been discharged from the Iowa Department of Human Services and/or Juvenile Court Services.
